Tariq Mian did his schooling from the Karachi Grammar School and obtained an Industrial Engineering Degree from the University of Houston (University Park Campus). He spent the first 10 years of his career working in the Oilfield with Schlumberger SEACO Inc. in various field and management positions in Syria, Yemen, Egypt, UAE, Japan, Scotland and the South of France. He founded and is presently CEO of Image Graphic Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. which pioneered Digital Printing in Pakistan and Sri Lanka and Director at EMPACT! Activation Services the largest brand activation company in Pakistan. Tariq Mian has previously set-up and sold Image Graphic Solutions Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd and AbacusTec a company that was doing Medical Transcription services for customers in the US & UK.

Tariq Mian is a Trustee and Executive Committee member of the Karachi Relief Trust, a registered NPO specializing in the area of Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation. He is also a Board Member of The Hunar Foundation a registered NPO that provides Vocational Training to deserving students and actively volunteers for The Behbud Association and a number of other NGO/NPO’s

He is an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver with specializations in Reef Ecology, Rescue and Recovery and First Responder in medical emergencies. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys trekking, paragliding, camping, spear fishing and organic farming.
