Naseem Jaffer has a dynamic background in philanthropy driven by her passion to make a meaningful and sustainable social change, mainly in the areas of health, education, and uplifting special members of the society. She has always remained resolute in assisting and empowering the less fortunate in Pakistan.
For decades, Naseem Jaffer has been involved in many initiatives and NGOs, helping in natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, and others. She has devoted a major part of her life to voluntary work spanned across several not-for-profit organizations where through her leadership and determination she was able to motivate change and raise the required support to meet the immediate and long-term goals of the NGOs she was associated with.
One of her major voluntary roles has been the initiative for the upliftment of the special members of society. Naseem Jaffer was the Founder Member and Chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan, and also headed the first International World Games. She was also a Member and Chairperson of “Funds for the Inclusion of Physically Disabled” (FIPD) that worked in collaboration with the World Bank, where she arranged and managed several fundraisers and workshops while also supporting and distributing financial and non-financial aid and services to several NGOs that were registered with FIPD.
Naseem Jaffer has played a major role in raising funds for The Kidney Centre as a member of “Friends of The Kidney Centre” since its inception. She is also a dedicated member of LRBT.
In the field of education, Naseem Jaffer was on the board of the Karachi American School in different capacities.
Naseem Jaffer is currently a Board Member of THF and Chairperson of “Friends of HUNAR”.
